About this speaker
Lori Breeuwsma is a publisher, master craftswoman, and co-founder of Karamat Wilderness Ways.
As an advocate for training the top wilderness experts in the world, Lori has worked with the legendary Mors Kochanski, the godfather of Bushcraft and Wilderness Living and Modern Survival in the Boreal Forest. She's also one of the co-organizers of the Global Bushcraft Symposium, the largest outdoor conference of its kind in the world that hosted Les Stroud (Discovery Channel’s Survivorman), many of the cast of The History Channel’s “Alone", Paul Kirtley (Frontier Bushcraft) and more.
Lori cut her teeth working in the outdoor industry and along with her partner Randy run one of the largest bushcraft and survival schools in the world for over 20 years. Thousands of students from all over the world have benefited from Lori's guidance. She has mastered the needle arts, primitive skills, and natural crafting and in 1996 the Provincial Museum of Alberta hired her and Randy to create a moose hide teepee and 14 other replicas for the Aboriginal Gallery that was displayed for almost 20 years.
